Walk with a Doc Columbus – Leaders
Walk with a Doc (WWAD) is an international nonprofit organization that was started in 2005 right here in Columbus by Dr. David Sabgir, a cardiologist with OhioHealth. Our doctor-led walking groups are a safe, fun, and FREE place to get some steps, learn about health, and meet new people. Walk with a Doc now takes place in hundreds of communities throughout the world and we’ve partnered with the City of Columbus since 2013 to host ongoing walks in several local neighborhoods.
Volunteer to Lead a Walk
We’re looking for healthcare professionals to lead Saturday morning Walk with a Doc events throughout Columbus. You’ll give a brief talk on a health subject at the beginning of the event (5-7 minutes) then spend the rest of the hour walking and chatting with participants. We would love to have you lead one event or as many as you would like!
